Academy Practice Membership

This attractive membership would specifically be for those golfers who wish to use the practice facilities to improve their golfing ability and enjoy the clubhouse facilities.

A great chance to enjoy our fantastic facilities and to meet fellow golfers who are keen to practice on improving all aspects of their golfing game.

Following benefits:

• Unlimited use of all the club practice facilities with range balls being available at the members’ rate from the Professional seven days a week
• Unlimited use of the clubhouse facilities including restaurant, bar, lounge, stud bar and changing rooms
• Members card which provides a discount of 15% on bar and catering purchases
• Issue of an appropriate membership tag which will allow the member to use the practice facilities
• Access to the Professional staff for enhanced coaching and tuition

Costings:

• £120 per annum for adults aged 18 and over
• £50 per annum for juniors under 18.
  
  

Academy Graduate Membership

This attractive membership, offering a package of coaching and playing rights, is aimed at prospective members who are learning how to play golf and provides a 2-year pathway to full membership.

Eligibility for this category of membership in YEAR 1:

Prospective member must be completely new to golf and have attended at least six tuition sessions (Individual, Group or Learn in a day) with the Verulam Golf Club Professional staff.

Having attended a six week block of tuition you can now enjoy on a regular basis attending group classes to make new friends and continue the learning process. Also making the experience personal to you by combining individual sessions on the practice facilities and on the course.

• Membership card which provides a 15% discount on bar and catering purchases
• Use of the full clubhouse facilities seven days a week.
• Restricted use of the course following guidance and best practice from the Professional staff
• Inclusive value of coaching credits

Costings:

• £598 per subscription year

The aim of this category of membership is to give the Academy graduate members as much assistance as possible to achieving a competitive handicap and full participation in club competitions.

Year 2

Following benefits:

• All the benefits of the Academy Practice Membership
• Membership card which provides a 15% discount on bar and catering purchases
• Full use of clubhouse facilities.
• Full usage of the course following guidance from the Professional staff
• Inclusive value in coaching credits
• Participation in club competitions provided a competitive handicap achieved.

Year 3

Having come through the Graduate Membership 2 year structure you now have the option to fulfil your commitment to golf by becoming a full playing member.

Weekly Classes

Anyone part of the academy programme can join in with our group golf classes that run weekly throughout the year.
