Junior Golf here at Verulam Golf Club gives children the opportunity to have fun and learn new skills. Our PGA Professional Coaches have built structured coaching programmes for all children whatever level and ability they currently are. Is your child;

Junior Golf here at Verulam Golf Club is all about having fun, enjoying the sport and being the best that you can be. We place a great emphasis on juniors and supporting them in every way we can!

Our purpose is to encourage young children within the community to develop all the skills and disciplines to be successful within the sport of golf.

It’s essential to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for young boy and girls and to acquire the knowledge of etiquette and the spirit of respect for all other golfers.

Tuition is given by our PGA Professionals headed by Samuel Ryder Academy Director Grant Neal 

 ...different types of membership, to suit your level

Membership options are simple. For beginners we induct them in to our Samuel Ryder Golf Junior Academy which is suited to those for an initial taster and get access to our Academy Golf Course. This ties into the coaching programme which is designed to get you playing and to progress children to play in junior events and gain an official handicap to monitor your progress. Full junior membership allows you to do lots more, including a chance to represent the club in team matches in the Hatfield Lexus Junior Golf League and Ver League, integrating into playing in all competitions and accessing the course at more peak times with your experience in playing level.

It’s a really simple system, getting your first handicap is a big step in golf and here at Verulam Golf Club we’ve made it really easy to do with the support of our PGA coaching team.

At Verulam Golf Club we have lots of different competition opportunities, from the Mid-week roll ups where children are encouraged to come up and hone in their skills , National Skills Challenges on our fantastic practice facilities to being the Junior Club Champion – and everything in between. All junior competitions are open to both boys and girls.

The welfare of the juniors here at the golf club, whether members or non-members, is our primary concern. We have in place a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy, and we ensure this is maintained at all times.
